The school year is now in full swing. We had record attendance for this years Ice Cream Social. It was great to see all the new and returning families of Oak Trace! Below you will find important upcoming dates.

Enrichment Classes- registration and payment deadline Friday, August 28th

Pre-school Tea – 8:45aAM/12:30PM

Meet the Teacher Night – August 24th 7-8PM

Labor Day – No School Sept.7th

Enrichment Classes Begin – Week of Sept. 8th

Fall Fundraiser Begins – Sept. 10th

Enrichment Classes – begin Sept. 8th

PTO Meeting – Sept. 15th 6:30 PM Childcare will be provide by Key Club.

Dough Raising – Sept 21st Watch Colts Monday Night Football and order a pizza!

Newcomers Breakfast – Sept. 24th 8AM

Movie Night – Movie TBA 6:30 PM

No School – Sept. 30th

Staff Appreciation Volunteers

We would like to thank all of our volunteers that helped out with the wonderful week we had for our staff! There are so many that helped out, from Room Parents, committee chairs, and so many more. We could not have had such a successful week without all of YOU!!!!

Staff Appreciation

Hospitality

The first event for our Hospitality committee is coming up. Our annual Newcomers Breakfast is scheduled for September 25th @ 8:00 a.m. This breakfast is for families new to Oak Trace and the Westfield area. We would love to see you if you are new to the area.

Tracey Hiatt will be contacting you if you volunteered to help with baked goods.

Domino’s Dough-Raising Night

Thank you all for such a great response for our first ever Dough Raising year. We had such a wonderful outcome, raising well over $600.00. We will continue this effortless fundraising event again during the 2008-2009 school year. The funds we raised help us purchase several things for the classrooms and the school this year! Thank you for all of your support.

Our first Dough Raising night will be on Sunday September 7th. That will be the Colts first REGULAR season HOME game against the Chicago Bears. GO COLTS!!!!!!�

School Directory Available

The 2008-2009 OTES school directory order form has been sent home and has a due date of Friday September 5th. The cost is $5 and goes directly to your PTO to support programs throughout the year. We gladly accept sponsors for the directory to promote your business and support the PTO.
